“I'm a woodblock printmaker, mostly birds."
I live in Putnam County, Indiana, a predominately rural area that continually feeds my appreciation and wonder for the natural world. With formal art education in Natural History illustration, I was fortunate enough to learn woodblock printing from world renowned printmaker, Tom Huck, of St. Louis, Missouri. This ancient artform is now the primary focus of my work.
After my apprenticeship with Tom Huck and Evil Prints, I started my own printshop, Wildwood Press. I am very passionate about conservation and habitat protection. Much of the work coming out of Wildwood Press is used to help those organizations fighting to protect Indiana wildlife and their habitats, particularly our feathered friends.
Appointments can be made to visit Wildwood Press if you are in the area and would like to see artwork in person (or just learn about woodblock printing. To do this, please send me an email through the CONTACT page of the website.
I'm constantly producing new work. Please check back to the website for additions. You can also sign up for my newsletter in the Contact section of this website. You'll be the first to hear about new work, receive special 'newsletter member only' discounts, and get the latest news before it's released to the general public. And of course you can follow me on Facebook and Instagram (links below).
